TERMS AND CONDITIONS – CONSUMER PURCHASE

All qualifications and courses

Enrolment

Enrolment will only commence on full payment of fees due, or successful completion of a finance application and payment of the appropriate deposit.

The qualification or course of study is not transferable to another person. Online materials are only to be accessed by the single learner enrolled on the course, and may not be accessed from more than two locations. Sharing of login details or abuse of access may result in the suspension or termination of enrolment.

English language proficiency

Where a qualification or course specifies a minimum threshold for English language proficiency, international students will not be enrolled until satisfactory evidence of English language proficiency is received in accordance with the appropriate policy. Where this is not received within two working days of payment, the payment will be refunded.

Minimum requirements

It is a condition of your application that you have an email address, internet access, and meet the minimum requirements for the specific qualification as specified on the relevant page.

Agreement to policies

You agree to comply with all NCRQ policies, including academic policies, data protection and privacy policies. A list of these is available on our website.

Special attention is drawn to our malpractice policy. We reserve the right to withdraw our services from any student suspected of malpractice or plagiarism.

Level 6 qualifications

Refunds

The sale of services is complete when you receive a welcome email from NCRQ. The provision of services commences immediately.

You may cancel these services within 14 days by sending us an email, calling us, or writing to us. You do not have to give a reason.

If you return any workbook or other materials in perfect condition to us within fourteen days of your cancellation, we will give you a full refund (including reimbursement of second class royal mail postage costs) immediately on receipt.

However, if materials are not returned within this time or they are damaged, we will not reimburse any postage and will deduct the current replacement workbook fee(s) as listed on our fees and charges page for each workbook to cover costs.

Except as specified above, no partial refund or discount will be given for any course elements that are not taken up.

Duration

Our level 6 qualifications are sold as a package that includes course resources, online learning, tuition, support and qualification certification through our partners AIM Qualifications. Fees provide access to the online learning platform, tutors and other course resources for:

  • 18 months from the date of enrolment on certificate qualifications
  • 18 months from the date of enrolment on individual units
  • Three years from the date of enrolment on diploma qualifications.

Access to the online learning platform, assessments and feedback for each qualification will no longer be available after that qualification has been awarded.

Reinstatement on a qualification at a reduced fee is available if your access has expired and you wish to purchase the same qualification again within three years. A reinstatement fee of 35% of the then current qualification fee will be payable.

Additional fees

Additional fees are payable for re-submissions and appeals as set out in our fees and charges.

Fees are reviewed on 1 April and 1 September each year.

Completion

Payment of fees and submission of assessments is not a guarantee that a qualification will be awarded. Where a student persistently fails to meet the assessment criteria, they will fail the qualification. In this case, they will need to re-enrol on the failed unit (paying the full current unit fee) and complete new learning and assessments for every aspect of the unit. A maximum of two enrolments on each unit are permitted.

Level 3 qualifications and courses

Refunds

The sale of services is complete when you receive a welcome email from NCRQ. The provision of services commences immediately.

If you have not accessed the online portal, you may cancel these services within fourteen days by sending us an e-mail, calling us, or writing to us. You do not have to give a reason.

However, once the online materials for a course or qualification are accessed, you waive your right to cancel.

Access to the online learning platform for each qualification or course will cease within 14 days of that qualification being awarded or course being completed.

Reinstatement on a qualification at a reduced fee is available if your course access has expired and you wish to purchase the same qualification again. A reinstatement fee of 35% of the then current qualification fee will be payable.

Additional fees
