As many of you know, staying competitive, and staying safe in today’s fast-paced working environment requires consistent CPD. The downside is that this often means a significant financial contribution either from yourself or from your employer – two paths that require extensive deliberation and discussions.
We’ve been doing some analysis on where our enrolments come from, and have found that the majority of our enrolments are funded by employers. This is great news – it means that more of you than ever are being supported by your employers, and that health and safety qualifications are being recognised as valuable investments for companies. It also shows that you are having effective conversations with your managers, HR, and business partners already. These are tricky conversations to negotiate, and we are glad that you’ve managed to convince the powers-that-be to support your development!
With this in mind, we at NCRQ thought we could do a little bit more to help you with these career discussions and training requests. We know many of you are hitting the ground running with your 2020 plans (judging by how busy our support team is at the moment!), so we’ve created a nifty fact sheet for businesses that succinctly explains our diploma – how it works, how much it costs, what it covers, and why employers should consider supporting an employee on our course.
It’s very much targeted towards those making training decisions in businesses, but please feel free to download this document and use it for any decision-making purposes – even if you are planning to self-fund. More in-depth information can be found across our website, but we have collated all the important points for quick reference.
As always, we are happy to hear your feedback – please do let us know whether you have found this document helpful, or if you would like more information adding. Our friendly support team can answer any questions you may have in the meantime:
