Fire Qualifications

Turn up the heat on your professional development with our upcoming suite of fire risk assessment qualifications

Fire risk assessment is one of the most important activities undertaken in the workplace, and doing it effectively requires a high degree of competence. Accordingly, NCRQ is releasing the highest RQF-level fire risk assessment qualifications available in the UK. We believe that this is the level necessary to fully understand the design and implications of protective measures, upon which hundreds of lives depend. This is just another example of how NCRQ are redefining professional standards.

Fire Risk Assessment Qualifications

Level 3 Award in Fire Safety Management

Our Level 3 Award is for those who have a general responsibility in the management of fire safety in the workplace. The award will cover the general principles underpinning fire risk assessment and enable those who complete the qualification to establish preventative workplace fire safety arrangements.

Level 6 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment

Those who are required to undertake full fire risk assessments will need to complete the Level 6 Certificate. Learners will be able to assess the suitability of protective controls to ensure buildings are safe and meet appropriate requirements.

Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment

The Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment will enable qualification holders to apply BS 9999 to risk assess a wide range of premises. Working to this standard will provide the flexibility to offer a wide range of solutions at lower costs, using a risk-based approach.

Redefining Fire Safety Standards

NCRQ’s suite of fire qualifications are designed to change mindsets by focussing on a learner’s understanding and application, reinforced by hard-hitting incidents taken from real-life case studies. Our unique approach assures the competence of those responsible for the safety of employees and the protection of valuable property, assets, and brand reputation.
Written by experts and former regulators, the NCRQ suite of fire qualifications utilises the same market-leading case study-based learning approach that transformed self-directed learning for health and safety professionals.
Further details on NCRQ’s fire qualifications will be announced in the coming weeks.
