Webinar review – An Introduction to NCRQ

The 7th of April marked World Health Day and the launch of our new webinar platform. One of our Directors Imogen presented ‘An Introduction to NCRQ’ to an enthusiastic audience, composed of both current and prospective students from a variety of industries and organisations.

What was covered?

Imogen utilised her vast experience accrued over several years with NCRQ to convey why we are considered the most popular provider of health & safety qualifications in the UK.

The session started with the communication of some key facts about NCRQ, followed by the skills employers look for from health & safety leaders. NCRQ’s unique case study-based approach to learning was discussed, so that those who had not worked with NCRQ before could ascertain if this would be a preferred method of learning for them.

NCRQ’s qualification framework was presented, with a more in-depth breakdown of the key features and benefits of each qualification. Towards the end of the session, we looked at some of the more specific considerations of self-directed study, including how our qualifications are assessed and what to expect when attending validation interviews.

The session concluded with some student testimonials before an opportunity to ask questions. Our audience were very engaged, and asked a range of different questions. A nice dynamic developed whereby present students were able to answer some of the questions from prospective students generating a captivating atmosphere.
